1st Glasgow Company The Boys Brigade —- Dec 2010
Our football season is underway and we are at the top. Two victories in our opening games.
Our recent ASDA bag-pack saw us raise £404. We have another 2 sessions before Christmas. The signs are good that we will raise enough to take all our boys to camp next year for 125p.
Our decision to have everyone in full uniform has met with very positive comment and feedback from the customers. The boys being repeatedly complimented for their appearance and courtesy. One expressed her pleasure that Christian outreach for for young people was still operating at all. We can give thanks to God that our efforts give satisfaction and hope.
Our Junior Section, represented by Caleb, Ethan and Ivan recently won the District Superstars competition – a first for us! We look forward to more participation in various events in the months ahead.
